Do you have ADHD — or suspect you might?
Maybe you’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or like life keeps piling up no matter how hard you try.
You might not want medication — or you’ve tried it and it isn’t enough.
Whatever your choice, that’s okay.
There’s so much you can do to support yourself and live well with ADHD.
And you don’t have to figure it out alone.
You’re not broken and you're not failing.
Figuring out you have ADHD can be helpful.
Things suddenly make sense…
But now what?
Memes and videos can feel validating,
but they don’t always help with real life.
Trying to piece everything together on your own can be exhausting - especially when your brain is already juggling so much.

Living with ADHD isn’t linear, it moves in cycles.
Some days you’re in flow.
Other days everything feels hard.
That doesn’t mean you’re failing.
It means you’re human.
My approach isn’t about forcing routines that don’t fit.
It’s about helping you:
ADHD Unboxed isn’t about quick fixes or pushing harder.
It's about being supported to cut through the noise, so you can get to the heart of what matters most to you.
My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and human.
No judgement.
No pressure.
Just support that:
Your physical and mental health are the foundation of everything else.
We'll work on building positive habits and routines that actually feel doable — at a pace that works for you.
That might include sleep, nutrition, movement, stress, or how you work with your emotions.
We start where you are and focus on what feels right.
Living well with ADHD means focusing on what truly matters to you — and letting go of what doesn't.
It's easy to lose touch with life's simple pleasures when you're dealing with overwhelm, pressure, and constant distractions.
I'll support you to create a more balanced way of living — one that helps you reconnect with your true nature: your calm, your creativity, your curiosity.
There's no one-size-fits-all approach to ADHD support.
Your experience is unique, and your support should be too.
We'll uncover what's getting in your way and find strategies that fit your life, your strengths, and your goals.
If things shift along the way — that's okay.
This is your journey. I'm here to help you navigate it in a way that works for you.
I’m Katie — an occupational therapist, health coach, and down-to-earth Yorkshire lass.
I’ve always had a long-standing passion for health, wellbeing, and supporting others.
I was diagnosed with ADHD just before turning 40, after coaching others on the pathway and recognising the signs in myself.
Suddenly my whole life made a lot of sense.
For years, I’d pushed through, worked hard, and tried to fit into boxes that didn’t suit me.
Like many of the people I support now, I’d experienced burnout, self-doubt, and the feeling that I “should” be doing better.
I’m also a mum and a wife, and I understand what it’s like to juggle family life alongside work and building a career.
It brings its own layer of pressure — and can often feel like you’re never quite doing enough in any of it.
Looking back, I’ve always leaned towards health and wellbeing — long before I understood why. It turns out it wasn’t just a passion of mine; it was a necessity.
I simply don’t function well when I don’t look after myself.
In many ways, I’ve always been my own guinea pig — constantly trying things out, learning, and figuring out what genuinely helps.
A big part of why I started ADHD Unboxed is because I’ve learned so much from creating my own wellbeing toolkit over the years — and I know how powerful it can be in helping me function well day to day.
But I also know that what works for me won’t automatically work for someone else.
So I bring together coaching approaches, a holistic perspective, and my professional training to help you build a toolkit that feels right for your life.
Together, we shape support that’s personal, practical, and sustainable.
Warm, honest, practical support that helps you understand yourself, take the pressure off, and create steadier ways of living that feel realistic and kind.
It’s a real honour to support people on their own journeys. There is so much you can do to live well, especially when you’re able to meet your basic needs and look after yourself.
And while ADHD can bring challenges, it also comes with real strengths — ones that become much easier to access when life finally starts to work with you, not against you.

What does an ADHD coaching session with you look like?
We start with a free 30-minute phone call to make sure my services are a good fit for you. If you feel good about our chat, you can book a 1-hour initial assessment session to explore what's going on with you and your goals for our time together. Then we’ll book you in for a follow-up session and go from there.
How long are your sessions?
After our initial session, all follow-up sessions are 1 hour. If you’d like to arrange longer sessions, drop me a message.
Do you accept funding through Access to Work?
Yes I do. If this is available to you, let me know and we can go from there.
How often would we meet?
My coaching and support moves at your pace. After our initial session, I’d recommend booking weekly or fortnightly for the first month. This helps us build our therapeutic relationship and most importantly - your momentum.
Where do sessions take place?
It’s important that you feel comfortable during our sessions. The right environment often supports the progress we make, which is why I offer in-person, telephone and video sessions.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
No worries at all. All I ask is that you contact me at least 24 hours before your appointment. This allows me to use my time efficiently.
Can you help me with work-related ADHD challenges?
Of course. As an occupational therapist and health coach, I’ve supported people through work-related challenges. My background enables me to support you in developing practical, effective strategies to return to or stay in work. I can also liaise with employers and provide reports with recommendations for reasonable adjustments, if needed.
How do I know if you’re the right ADHD coach for me?
You don’t. That’s why I offer a free 20-minute intro call. We’ll have an informal chat, where I find out more about you and what you’re looking for and you can learn more about how I work. From there, it’s completely your choice as to whether we work together.
Do I need to prepare for or bring anything for our first session?
Just bring yourself and an idea of what you’d like to get from our time together.
Is there a minimum number of sessions I have to commit to?
No. You’re free to book sessions as and when you need them. It’s a good idea to keep your sessions fairly consistent though. This supports your progress and ensures you don’t miss out on preferred slots.
What qualifications and certifications do you hold?
As of right now, my qualifications are:

Being registered with these professional bodies means I adhere to high standards of practice, ethics, and ongoing learning — giving you peace of mind that you're receiving safe, evidence-based support.
What is an Occupational Therapist and how can they help with ADHD?
Occupational Therapists (OTs) help people overcome challenges that affect their ability to do everyday things — from self-care and work to leisure and relationships. When it comes to ADHD, an OT can help you explore how your environment, routines, mental wellbeing, and physical health affect your ability to function. Together, we look at the big picture of your life, identifying barriers and building sustainable strategies to support your wellbeing, productivity, and sense of purpose.
What is a Health and Wellbeing Coach?
A Health and Wellbeing Coach helps you discover what matters most to you and supports you in making changes to improve your health, energy, and overall wellbeing. This isn’t about strict rules or quick fixes. Instead, coaching focuses on your goals, strengths, and values — helping you build healthier habits, manage stress, and stay motivated. My approach blends coaching with therapeutic insight to support real, meaningful change — your way.
I offer in-person ADHD coaching and occupational therapy sessions in South Yorkshire. Clients travel from Doncaster, Rotherham, Barnsley, Sheffield, Scunthorpe, Pontefract, Goole, and across Yorkshire.
For added flexibility, I also provide remote sessions via Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, making support accessible no matter your location.
